sigh sigh sigh.

hello hello! today is again itp! as usual reported to work; filled in logbk this morning, when it comes to task/assignment section for everyday.. haha! didnt know wat to write.. after tat went into lab le. n today was my WHOLE DAY in lab, WITHOUT sitting n working MOST of e time! was preparing some solutions for another staff when my supervisor came in with a LIST of items n quantity..

abt 9 plus 10 am...
esley: ehh, janet ah, i need u help me prepare some solutions..
*i thought to myself* FINALLY a task! thought prepare solutions shld be simple n easy.. so answered her happily~ LOL!
janet: OKAY! according to this (the paper)?
esley: yup, stock solutions are below the fume hood, bottles, weighing boats over there..
janet: okay!
esley: how long do u need?
*i see 18 solutions nia, so thought shld be fast.. n said...
janet: maybe after lunch ba.
esley: no, i think u need a day.
*a day?! PUZZLED?!*
janet: -.- okay okay. when i done i go inform u.
esley: okay, thanks.

when starting to prepare then i know why. n tat's when i finally appreciate the beauty of pipettes! n totally understand why pipettes are chemists good frens! firstly, im given this recipe to "create" 18 solutions for testing. happily, i went to get e neccessary apparatus n stock solutions. then i got a BIG SHOCK!!! i cant find some of the stocks had a hard hard time finding n spend a huge amt of time finding. lol. there is no volumetric flask, only bottles. so, dilution i hv to MEASURE, there is no watsoever mark for me to top up. haha! then.. there is no PIPETTES!!! faint faint faint! so i can only.. WEIGH e solutions ACCURATELY. ahhh~ wanna cry liao la! somemore each solution got a few things to add.

until lunch time i did only 2 solutions. im so nt used to no pipettes ard. then keep overshot so no accurate had to pour away n redo!! )= got a few solutions i redo like 3-4 times! PEK CHEK! so wan to chiong to sp to steal pipettes la~

i really miss sch, miss doing prac tgt n wan itp to end right now! i prefer doing practicals at sch lab.
